Our remote accessories are compatible with most ceiling fans on the market, offering a replacement for the original remote control kit or an upgrade to a traditional fan to a remote-controlled fan. Our universal ceiling fan remote controls kit is UL listed and FCC ID approved, allowing for the upgrade of traditional ceiling fans to be remote controllable, ideal for most ceiling fan lights with an AC motor.

The universal remote allows for individual control of fan motor and light kits, offering three fan speeds (high/medium/low/off) and the ability to control light on/off and brightness. The remote operates on an input voltage of AC 120V, 60Hz and has a wireless transmission of RF 304MHz with a remote distance of 30m in open air. It is powered by 2XAAA batteries, not included in the package.

The light dimmer feature allows users to control the brightness and compatibility with various types of light bulbs, including incandescent, dimmable LED, and CFLs. It is ergonomically designed for comfort and has a compact, ultra-thin receiver that is easy to install.

Users can set the 4-dip pin codes before installation and are advised to set the same pin codes on both the transmitter and receiver. It is important to note that the default setting is 0000, which is not recommended. If multiple ceiling fans are being used, it's important to ensure that the PIN code settings are different between them.

The universal fit of the remote kit makes it compatible with most ceiling fan lights, with the ability to control 3-speed options and light dimming. It operates quietly, is UL listed and FCC ID listed. The 2 AAA batteries required are not included in the package, and it's not compatible with 9V batteries.

In addition, the remote can be used to control two fans with the same pin codes set on the remote and two receivers. It is important to have the installation completed by a qualified electrician and ensure there is enough space in the fan canopy to fit the receiver before ordering.

The remote is also compatible with other brands of AC fans and offers a universal version to upgrade traditional ceiling fans to be remote-controllable. Users can rest assured that the remote will only work with the receiver included in the package, and it is not suitable for DC fans.
